Busy September & October

I attended the 2024 CMT Research Foundation Global Convention in Cambridge, MA where I connected with colleagues and learned about the latest in CMT drug development. My first trainee, Marvis, started in the lab and I did a radio interview on the Tiger Radio Network to talk about my research and personal experience with CMT. I began working with undergads at Mizzou to start a student organization focused on raising funds and awareness for rare diseases. And we held our first Motor Neuron Symposium at NextGen which was an amazing event that brought together ALS patients with expert researchers and clinicians.
